USC trustee William J. Schoen BS ’60, MBA ’63 and his wife, Sharon, have made a new gift of $10 million to the Schoen Family Scholarship Program for Veterans, providing financial support for veterans studying at the USC Marshall School of Business as well as at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering.

This latest gift—which increases the family’s total contributions to the endowment $16 million—was announced at the annual USC Veterans Appreciation Dinner on March 27, 2012, which honors USC’s veteran and ROTC students. At the gala event, the Schoens received a special commendation recognizing their extraordinary support for student veterans at the university.
