Since its first incarnation in 1978, the USC Viterbi Awards has been a forum for recognizing outstanding members of the engineering community and our alumni who have made lasting contributions to science and engineering in all its manifestations. This year’s honorees include USC Trustee Wanda Austin, recipient of the Mark S. Stevens Distinguished Alumni Award, who is president and chief executive officer of The Aerospace Corporation, a leading architect for the nation’s national security programs. Al Dorman, the retired founding chair and first CEO of AECOM, was honored with the Daniel J. Epstein Management Award; and Kenneth Koo Chee Kong, of the Tai Chong Cheang Steamship Co. (H.K.) Ltd. was honored with the Global Leadership in Engineering Award.
