Every year since 1932, the USC Alumni Association Gala has paid tribute to distinguished members of the Trojan Family. Past honorees include Apollo 11 astronaut Neil Armstrong ’70, world-renowned architect Frank O. Gehry ’54, opera great Marilyn Horne ’53 and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Zemeckis ’73. The 2014 honorees include Daniel J. Epstein ’62, founder and chairman of the board of The ConAm Group of Companies; Ronnie Lott ’81, NFL Hall of Famer and four-time Super Bowl champion; Bob Osher ’81, president of Sony Pictures Digital Productions, Gail Samuel ’88, ’89, MBA ’02, chief operating officer, Los Angeles Philharmonic Association; Aja Brown ’04, MPL’05, Mayor of Compton, California; and Alumni Association Service Awards recipients Michael A. Felix ’83 of the USC Latino Alumni Association Corporate Council Advisory Board; Jana Waring Greer ’73, chair of the USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences Board of Councilors; Christine M. Ofiesh ’74, executive board member of Town and Gown of USC.
